Item Description
8.5" tall assembled and complete with all the flaps. ©1948 Superman Inc. Front of box has ad for Pep pins including images for Superman, Orphan Annie and Moon Mullins. One side panel has another ad listing 18 Pep pins and shows examples of Junior Tracy, Andy Gump and a beanie cap. Back panel features Superman 8-panel comic strip and from a numbered series of at least 12. This is #1 and titled "Superman And The Terrible Underseas Monster." Back panel also mentions the Superman radio program. Front bottom edge has a 4" long cut line. Underside flap has 1.5" surface paper tear. Box is lightly aged all over. Still tight and displays nicely as assembled. Fine. Scarce. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
