Item Description
3x6.75" silk ribbon with narrow hem on top and bottom edges. Long ago, a .25x2.5" narrow piece of masking tape was placed across reverse at the top. This caused .25x1" fabric split but essentially invisible unless fabric is purposely pulled. There is also a 1/8" hole upper left but not on text area. Reads in full "Perry's Victory, Sept. 10, 1813./'We Have Met The Enemy And They Are Ours'/Henry Clay, Frelinghuysen, And Victory/Grand Whig Rally At Erie, Pa./Sept. 10, 1844." VG. Clean and Rare.
