10x12.5" ring binder. c. 1950s. Extensive manual with numerous sections explaining various aspects of running a successful service station. Extensive sections of sales training, checklists for products and services, service station display/layout with numerous acetate overlays to help explain the dos and don'ts of product display. Additional brochures include "The Psychology Of Handling Your Wife, Balanced Selling, Your Secret To Success" and a saucy 16-page brochure titled "Let's Train Tessie!" This segment shows various training tips for anyone in the service station business but this long-legged, shapely trainee spices up the o/w boring tasks performed at a service station. An interesting overview of service station life and life in general in the 1950s. VF.
