Front cover has central art of characters descending a winding staircase w/scenes of the Civil War in the bkg. Cover has a total of 11 signatures, nine of the cast and the director Victor Fleming as well as the producer David Selznick. Cast signatures include Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard (who died after being shot down by the Nazis during WWII), Olivia de Havilland, Hattie McDaniel, Thomas Mitchell, Barbara O'Neil, Butterfly McQueen, Lara Hope Crews. All signatures are in black ink (most likely w/same pen) and are positioned at various locations all over front cover.
