Item Description
Unlisted in Sullivan/DeWitt, this lustrous 1-1/8" token is a full 1/8" thick. High relief bust on front with Grant's name and date of 1868 while reverse has high relief bust of Colfax surrounded by his name and the 1868 date. Tiniest wear under magnification including slightest flattening of Colfax's nose but overall condition remains outstanding and N. Mint. Seldom seen. See Colfax on pocket mirror #454.
