Item Description
2.5" by Pat Gogerty. Hake #48. Sidney Hillman was a labor leader with ties to FDR and other New Dealers. During the campaign, Dewey charged that the CIO and Hillman's Political Action Committee dominated FDR. There was an unfounded rumor FDR told his party leaders to "Clear It With Sidney" before selecting the 1944 Vice-Presidential candidate. Superior example, N. Mint and displays Mint.
