Item Description
This issue features another memorable cover by Simon and Kirby. At first glance it appears that Sandman is simply on the prowl for a criminal. However, behind him are four well-armed thugs ready to do away with him. From the look in his eyes, Sandman has no idea they are there. The book contains the last appearance of the Golden Age Manhunter. It also includes stories by Alfred Bester and Joe Samachson. Among the artists contributing to the stories are Gil Kane, Stan Kaye, Emil Gershwin and Louis Cazeneuve. The pages are off-white to white. The book is CGC graded NM 9.4. According to their census, this is the second highest known grade CGC has seen. The book is recognized as part of the San Francisco Pedigree.
