Item Description
.75x12x13" box. c. 1950s. Plain box edge is stamped "1 Doz. Shmoo Rings." Box has three corner splits on lid. One split on box bottom. Fine. Box contains die-cut cardboard standee with delightful pirate graphics of Shmoos looking into treasure chest. Name "Al Capp/Copyright UFS" appears at bottom right. Bottom left reads "Manufactured And Distributed By Jarco Metal Products Co. New York." "Gold Plated" in 7/8" long oval appears stamped on chest lid. Display has unused stand on reverse. Left margin has 2.5" vertical crease right along die-cut edge, barely noticeable. O/w card remains bright, glossy, Exc. Metal rings with adjustable bands feature 5/8" tall embossed figure of Shmoo on front with smaller Shmoos on each side. Inside adjustable band reads "Lucky Ring." One of original 12 rings missing. Rings Exc. Scarce. A great design in overall Exc. condition.
