Item Description
1935 by Soreng-Manegold. Lamp has painted tin body with 5" dia. by 4" tall, 6.5" tall to top of socket. Version with green body (also came in beige). Around outside surface are 3 identical Mickey decals and all are nearly 100% complete. Working and has original electric cord. Base shows light scattered paint wear with some minor nicks/scratches but remains totally bright and glossy. VF. The glossy thin cardboard shade is 5.25" tall. From a series of 6 different, each was numbered. This is "2" featuring Mickey and Minnie at school with Clarabelle as the teacher, Pluto waits for them outside. All-over, moderate aging/dust soiling along with a number of scattered hairline creases .5" to several inches in length. Top rim edge has a .5" tear. Still structurally sound, color is strong and appearance still remains glossy. VG. These shades are about 50 times rarer than the lamp. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
