Item Description
10x12.5" thick cardboard with embossed text reading "Look For Mickey In The Pot/Put A Pot Of Mickey Mouse Marmalade In Your Kiddy's Stocking This Christmas." At top left is image of Mickey, top right has holly leaves and berries. The marmalade jar is featured in the 1935 English Mickey merchandise catalogue and the jar featured a beautiful label of Mickey and Minnie while the marmalade itself had Mickey Mouse figures stamped out of orange peels. A photocopy of this ad comes along. .5" wide strip of black tape added to margins of the blank reverse. Front lightly aged, 1/8" puncture below the word "Kiddy's" that does not really show and tiny color flake on Mickey's pants. Still displays VF and the first we've seen.
