Item Description
11.25x14.25" hardcover book printed by Columbia pictures to promote films for the 1932-1933 season. Book highlights stars and films with vivid art and color. Some stars include Wheeler and Woolsey, Buck Jones, Jack Holt, Frank Capra, Adolphe Menjou; films include "Bottom of the Sea, The Bitter Tea of General Yen, Destroyer, The Dictator" as well as pages devoted to Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney's Silly Symphonies. The art utilized for Silly Symphonies page is quite different from the usual Disney style with very stylized characters. Other animated shorts are highlighted with a parade lead by Mickey Mouse and includes Krazy Kat and Scrappy among others. Pages are clean, bright and N. Mint. Beautiful silver foil cover has some wear to front and back but this is does not greatly detract from overall display of book. VF.
