Item Description
8x9-1/8" hardcover by Skippy creator Crosby, book was published by Harper & Bros. Publishers in 1919. Pre-dates Skippy and depicts Crosby's experiences in France as a 1st Lieutenant of the 305th Infantry of the 77th Division. Wounded in battle, Percy was awarded the Purple Heart and Victory Medal. Some of the cartoons depict trench warfare and gas attacks. Cover shows light aging and corner tip wear with scattered insect damage to back cover. Fine with Exc. contents.
