9.25x12" cloth-bound hardcover published by Edward T. Miller. Consists of Westerman editorial cartoons printed in the Ohio State Journal 1903. Westerman was a regular artist for "Puck." Hand-numbered and signed by Westerman, this is #201. Page opposite title page has inscription "To Cousin Frank, Sincerely Yours - Harry. Aug. 18, '04" in black ink. Great details in cartoon raising social issues including one cartoon showing mouth of mine with grinning skull, war cartoons, gambling as depicted as a constricting giant snake and one cartoon featuring Teddy Roosevelt shaking Grover Cleveland's hand. Superb content and art. Pages are clean and Exc. Covers show some wear to corner tips and soiling at edges. Fine.
