10.5x29" thin artboard with 2 daily strips by Krazy Kat creator George Herriman, each 5 panels long. "The Dingbat Family" strip area measures 6.75x27". Story deals with professor hypnotizing Mr. Dingbat to humorous effects. "Krazy Kat" strip area measures 2x27", story dealing with Krazy Kat going into ice cream parlor and being served "A Brick Of Ice Cream" by Ignatz who promptly throws "brick" into the back of Krazy Kat's head. Great effect and classic play on words. Hearst, c. 1913. The Dingbat Family was the strip where Herriman introduced Krazy Kat as the family cat. Series ran from 1910-1916 with "Krazy Kat" bottom strip. Light handling wear but strips have been professionally cleaned and restored, art areas Exc. A classic strip featuring Herriman's best-known Krazy Kat gag.
