4x6.5x11.5" tall beautifully painted and glazed figurine with mark on underside for this Italian company along with series number "W79." This company signed a contract with Disney in 1947 which lasted for about ten years. This piece is c. 1947. There are about ten widely scattered tiny glaze nicks which in no way distract from this figurine's impressive appearance and all could be easily hidden by means of professional touch-up. Piece has some typical minor scattered craze lines, most of which blend and most only visible when viewed closely. Overall appearance remains totally bright and glossy, a large and impressive figurine. VF. All pieces by this company are rare and this is the first of this figurine that we've ever offered.
