Item Description
6x13x13" tall pressed steel machine marked "Premiere Gum And Card Vendor Mfg. By Oak Mfg. Co. California." Front also has "Quebec Vending Machine Co." decal although this is only about 50% complete. Has glass inserts, one with "Acorn All Purpose Vendor 1¢" decal, behind the other two are example cards. These machines were used in the 1950s and 1960s and vendors sold whatever cards were available to them. This machine currently has 4 classic cards from the 1960s: two different Batman series, Beatles and James Bond but any cards could be substituted for display purposes. Complete with key and locks, one for top-loading the machine the other on back for removing coins. Below each card window is compartment marked "Pull Card Out." All-over scattered moderate traces of paint wear including a .25x5" strip along bottom front edge. VG/Fine. An exceptional item to display along with your gum card collection.
