Item Description
2.5x3-3/8" stub for "Upper Box Chair 235" which cost then $2.20. Trivial and faint .25" crease across lower right corner tip. Beautifully preserved and exceptionally fresh. A superior example displaying N. Mint. On that day, Gehrig's number was retired. The Gehrig monument, in the stadium's Monument Park behind center field was dedicated July 6, 1941. Gehrig's monument followed one other, Miller Huggins, and Gehrig has been followed by Ruth, Mantle and DiMaggio. Historic and an outstanding example.
