Item Description
5.75x6-7/8" certificate has classic full-color image of Superman breaking chains. Issued by Swan's Bread in 1941 to promote national defense and the Junior Defense League of America. Folded once as mailed. Certificate has lightest trace of wear and some minor indents on the address line. N. Mint. Original 3-5/8x6.5" envelope with "Swan Superman Junior Defense League" return address has been postally-issued with matching typed name that appears on certificate. Envelope has wear and aging and is VG. Only 4 certificates are known to exist, and only 1 other comes with envelope. Very rare.
