Item Description
13.75x18x7" tall tin litho arcade-style shooting range game. Copyright 1950. Working wind-up game is in the classic arcade style with revolving spaceships that were meant to be shot with gun which is missing. This gun could be replaced from any other generic target game of this type. We believe this to be a standard space toy but was factory customized to read "Official Captain Video Space Shooting Range" to capitalize on Captain Video's popularity. This text is not part of the tin lithography and has been applied post-production at the factory. Game has scattered general wear including paint scratches, nicks and flakes to text. Still glossy and VG. First example of this game we've seen attributed to Captain Video.
