Item Description
3.75x5.5x3" deep box contains 5.5" tall King Kong manufactured in the early 1940s in occupied Japan. Box graphics include nice image of King Kong rampaging through city. Scarce. Box lid has .5" tear to bottom side panel and .5" puncture to box label, not affecting King Kong graphics. Box has some creasing to bottom side panel but remains tight. VF. Celluloid hands and face with tin feet and body covered by real rabbit fur. Figure has built-in key and works. Fur remains intact and aside from some light wear around mouth, toy is VF. In Auction #185, we offered this toy with only the box lid that sold for $750. See following item #2162.
