Item Description
10.25" long tin litho and painted tin by Yone, Japan 1950s. Colorful box shows truck leaving construction site and passing by a "Champion Spark Plugs" roadside sign. Box has creasing around all sides and top has original 88¢ Penney's price tag on one end. Lid also has 1" tear on truck image which has been secured inside by tape and touched-up with red ink on the top not that noticeable. Bottom has numerous tears, tape repairs, several holes and overall is VG. Truck has working friction and nice design with lithoed wheel hubs, detailed interior and wooden plank design to bed of truck. Has nice chrome accents including grille marked "GMC," headlights, mirror, roof trim, etc. Bed has a few light scratches as produced and on the cab by the mirror is a small area of factory touch-up paint. VF but displays Exc.
