Item Description
12" long pressed steel with rubber tires. By Metalcraft Products 1930s. Scarce box has overall wear including dust soiling, creases, color rubs, a 1" slit in middle of top panel as well as replaced pair of end flaps with hand-drawn folk-artish images to match the other side real image. Box VG but still very displayable. There is 3x6" instruction sheet dealing with insertion and operation of the battery powered headlights promoting a certain brand of battery. Sheet has numorous edge tears, heavy creasing but still totally readable. Toy itself has numerous decals including "Heinz 57 Varieties Pure Food Products" round one on both sides as well as "Spaghetti Tomato Ketchup Rice Flakes" etc. on larger square ones. Most decals have some age spotting but very little flaking. Minor flaking on one of the two round decals. Truck has some interior dust soiling and some scattered wear in the form of paint flaking of visor above windshield and some rubs to front corners of bed. A plated front unit consisting of grille, bumper and headlights has some aging. Interior of battery compartment is clean. Overall displays Fine.
