Cases are hard plastic. Three are 4x10x5.5" tall and one is 4x4x6.5" tall. All are from a special 1989 collection issued by Britains to "continue our 100 years of traditional metal figure manufacture" All cases contain groupings of soldiers in diorama format with "Britains" repeated name printed on backdrops that are the bkg. of each case. On the reverse of these backdrops, is a description of these sets in general plus detailed descriptions of the soldiers contained in each particular case. These include 10-piece Scots Guard Band, 6-piece Scottish Regiment including bagpiper, 10-piece marching Scots Guards and 10-piece marching Royal Marines. Cases have varying degrees of wear. Almost all wear is centered on tops which contain some scuffs and scratches. However, fronts of cases have little wear and would display Fine on a shelf. All soldiers are Mint. A nice group for display.
