18.5x24.25". c. 1930s. ©Hecker H-O Co. Inc. Illustrated map with inset Benson portrait. Bottom right has inset map of African continent. Rest of map is covered with cartoonish illustrations of natives, their villages, witch doctor, jungle animals and plant life. Border design is repeated monkeys connected by hands and tails. Small text describes many of the areas/images including: "Valley Of Diamonds/Wawgar The Witch Doctor/Skull Mountain," etc. Trace of margin wear. Folded as issued. Overall bright, clean, Fine. One of the earliest and most colorful premium maps.
