10.25x12.25" cloth-bound hardcover binder contains approximately 150 production drawings for various Walt Disney cartoons produced during 1938-1939. Drawings were most likely gathered by a Walt Disney Studio employee c. 1938-1939 as all drawings are for productions of this time. Binder includes animation sheets - Donald's Lucky Day (14), Farmyard Symphony (5), Practical Pig (4), Mother Goose Goes Hollywood (8), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (4), Brave Little Tailor (3), Society Dog Show (1), Donald's Nephews (43), Donald's Golf Game (1), Good Scouts (2); as well as dozens featuring Donald Duck from various different cartoons, which we could not readily identify. Some drawings for Donald's nephews were done by Paul Allen, others by Johnny Cannon. Some of these pencil drawings are rough in nature, being partial or preliminary drawings. 1 Practical Pig page has 7.5" tear but does not affect image of Big Bad Wolf in chair. 1 Donald Duck page has 4x6" piece missing from upper left-hand corner, not affecting images. Another Donald page has 6" tear and another has .5x2" piece missing along left-hand margin, taking along with it a small piece of Donald's hand. Pages show mild-moderate handling wear/aging but most art remains VF/Exc. We have not removed pages from vintage binder, keeping integrity of item as collected. Binder shows obvious and heavy wear. An impressive and instant collection.
