Item Description
30x39.75" poster by Uno Evans Print. c. 1929. Poster features 2 adapted (though not in usual style) images of Mickey Mouse, taken from 1929 American publicity images. Stock poster with unused "snipe header" area. Poster reads "An Avalanche Of Laughter! Mickey The Mouse In His Latest Mirthquake. Cine-Sound Animated Cartoon 'Mickey' Is The...Greatest Comedian The Talkies Have Introduced. He's Laughter Unlimited Rolled Into One Little Mouse." Minimal professional color touch-ups along fold lines, only noticeable upon close inspection. Poster had a few scattered faint moisture stains but has since been professionally cleaned and linen-mounted with paper backing. Poster itself never suffered any rips, tears or repairs other than mentioned cleaning and color touch-ups. A great, early Mickey Mouse poster, 1 of few to refer to him as "Mickey The Mouse." Only known example and extremely rare.
