Three-piece lot offered in 1956 by Wheaties. Puppets of Champy & Mr. Fox could be obtained for 50¢ and one box top per puppet. If both puppets were ordered the theater was sent along free. These characters are the creation of puppeteer legend Bill Baird and were seen on Mickey Mouse Club TV commercials. Each puppet is 9.5" tall with fabric bodies and vinyl heads. Champy has moderate trace of aging, some dark spots on hands. Head shows only small scattered trace of wear. Fine. Mr. Fox is Exc. The theater show sheet has overall size of 17x44". Includes large cut-out stage plus small cut-outs of Wheaties cereal box, car and club. Detailed assembly instructions note you were to supply your own bkg. scenes. Included are puppet show ideas as well as cut-out show tickets. Sheet has light wear as originally folded, but remains totally clean and un-cut. Exc. Rare premium, especially with unused stage.
