Item Description
1966 (ST-2553) Second State stereo version (about 1 out of 25 records issued were produced in stereo) with "Trunk" cover paste-over intact. Small dark triangular area (Ringo's shirt on hidden "Butcher" cover) shows through to right of trunk. Paste-over cover has had no peeling attempts. Nearly entire album has faint moisture staining, more noticeable on back, front retaining clean appearance with light color rubs to Beatles images. Sleeve remains free of splits and is VG. All original, has RIAA seal #2, indicating east coast distribution. Album comes with original Capitol dust sleeve and correct record which shows moderate wear but remains free of any serious scratches that would affect play. Fine. Also comes with photocopy of Capitol Records Distributing Corporation letter announcing recall.
