Item Description
17x22". Paper. Folds as issued. Willis Stone was the founder and long-time chairman of the Liberty Amendment Committee. The LAC had the sole purpose of promoting a proposed constitutional amendment that would require the US government to disengage from all activities not specified in the constitution. The Liberty Amendment was a popular rallying point for the activists in the fledgling Libertarian movement of the 1960s and early 1970s. Four issues mentioned here include: less government controls/victory in Vietnam by stopping all aid and trade to the Communists/repeal of the Socialist federal income tax/restoration of the Constitution to full force and affect. Back of poster has extensive text detailing his proposals. Light tanning on reverse. VF.
