Printed side reads "Elect O!Dwyer Senator." O'Dwyer was an ally of Senator Eugene J. McCarthy in the successful anti-war challenge to LBJ's re-nomination in 1968. O'Dwyer scored an upset victory himself in the New York Democrat senate primary that year but lost in the November election to Senator Jacob K. Javitz. Tiny edge wear, o/w Exc.
