Item Description
2-3/8" tall beautifully designed rare oval pinback showing "William Jennings Bryan" above 4 ears of corn with one husk inscribed "'From Mr. Bryan's Fairview Farm'." Rest of text continues "Our Standard Bearer: The Nation's Commoner - Two of America's Great Essentials To Peace & Prosperity - Known The World Over." Couple of very trivial scratches will catch reflected light but in most angles piece displays essentially Mint with full color and high gloss. Shown as Hake #39 but that example is mounted to a 1908 Democratic Convention ribbon badge. This example has covered tin back with a horizontal bar pin at center. This version was designed to be worn by itself and was never part of a ribbon badge. See following stickpin with the same design. Rare and Exc.
