Item Description
Lot of 7. Cuban-born Willy Miranda played in the major leagues from 1951 through 1959 including two years with the Yankees (53-54) and the Orioles (55-59). First is 3x4.25" snapshot c. 1940s in Cuban League uniform. Next are three postcards, one as an Oriole, two with Yankees. Color postcard with facsimile signature. Tape/pin hole at top center. Next two are 8x10" glossy photos, both taken at Yankee Stadium. One has ink notation on back "1950" when he played with the Washington Senators, other is him shaking hands with Phil Rizzuto (edge tear). Last is 7x9" photo of Willy as Yankee with Mickey Mantle. Photos were obtained from his wife and lot comes with hand-written note from her stating this. Overall condition is VG/Vf.
