Left-hand pages tell fable story at top and "Numerous Americans With Corelating Statements Below." ie. Patrick Henry, Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, etc. Text alludes to being issued during or immediately after WWI. German sympathy is implied. An interesting read. Wonderful illustrations. Split on inside cover, but not separated from spine. Light overall wear to cover. Fine. Pages VF.
