Item Description
Crystal clear photo of crowds outside the ornate Temple of Music at the Pan-American Exposition. On extreme left side just above the center point, there is a small bump in the celluloid and a 1/8" hairline crack on the side edge not showing from the front. Front of the celluloid remains extremely bright and clean with high gloss. On the reverse the original wire easel is gone but a substitute wire has been fitted into the openings. Below is the original paper sticker reading "The American Campaign Button Co. Branch...Buffalo, N.Y." Sticker has partial split and couple tiny age dots but remains in place and only example we've seen. Sepia photo has some hand-tinting in yellow, muted red and green. A gorgeous piece.
