Item Description
The 1.25" jugate with fancy brass rope rim is Hake #3145 but this example has an attached pair of ribbons in the city of Philadelphia colors and which read "Allied Rep. Clubs Of Philadelphia./Reading Sept. 21-22nd, 190 (with partial numeral 4)." Ribbon has three tiny 1/16" or less insect holes. Contrast on the jugate real photos is somewhat light but all features remain clear and the text reads "G.O.P. Roosevelt Fairbanks." The second jugate is Hake #50. This 7/8" has a backpaper showing "Liberty" bell and a union bug listing the city as Rochester. Design is a little off-center to the right but o/w essentially Mint. The 7/8" browntone button from 1904 has W&H backpaper. The 1.25" real photo without dot pattern reads "Our President" and has a 1.75" blue ribbon attached under the metal-covered reverse. Both the 1.25" pieces are scarce.
