Item Description
Early 1.25" with illustrations of two faces representing tragedy and comedy. This early button has no maker's name or backpaper with a little minor oxidation on the reverse. The little bit we can find on this group name dates the union to 1894-1904. The 1904 era would be consistent with the manufacturing style of the button. Tiniest bit of edge denting but only noticeable when viewed from the reverse. Front displays bright and clean. One of the earliest and most interesting union buttons we've seen. Only example we've seen.
