Item Description
A glass paperweight picturing Col. Albert Pope deems him the "Founder Of The Manufacture Of Bicycles" as well as his being "The Pioneer Of The Great Movement For Better American Roads." This pair of 7/8" buttons has identical bicycle image plus identical rim text "Ride A Pope Bicycle" as well as the firm's Hartford location but the area beneath one is blank whereas under the other is the text in green "Rambler." Both have W&H backpapers used 1900-1912. Both are Exc. and display Mint. Comes with Hake's COA. Also see #539.
