Item Description
Beautiful 1.25" portrait of Annie in winter outfit complete with W&H backpaper. Text reads "'Some Swell Sweater' Orphan Annie." This is one of four items from her first year of merchandising and was given away with the purchase of her licensed sweater. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Comic Characters Section #245. Some light surface wear in reflected light but clean and extremely fine and still displaying Mint. We've seen same design with name of maker Parisian Novelty but apparently W&H was also contracted. Comes with Hake's COA.
