Item Description
10.5x13.5" stiff matte finish photograph c. 1930s created as a 3-in-1 composite portrait. Dominating center is atmospheric large image of Mix partially in shadow posed on a chair with his gun drawn. Upper right is rearing image of Tony with Tom in saddle and a black line representing a brown lasso leading to upper left where it surrounds rear ankles of Tony with Tom in the saddle waving hello with his Stetson. Mix has signed "To Art Siteman - Best Wishes - Tom Mix" in blue ink. Barely visible 1" crease at bottom left-hand corner. Blank reverse has scattered staining and tape strip remnants at margins, none of which shows through to front of portrait. Fine but would display Mint if framed. Comes with COAs of both Hake's as well as Joseph Maddalena's Profiles In History from the 1990s.
