Item Description
Box illustrated with images of statue within contains 14.5" tall cold-cast porcelain statue in bronze color. As nameplate on base indicates, statue is of "The World's Mightiest Mortal" Captain Marvel. Designed and sculpted by Alex Ross, the man behind the 1966 epic DC Comics story. Statue is Mint. Box has light wear and is Exc. 1020/1300 produced. ©1999 DC Comics. Underside of base has incised Ross signature. Produced by DC Direct. Comes with 8.5x11" print showing Ross full color art of this statue, also signed by him in black felt tip pen. See Kingdom Come Superman Statue #2170.
