Toy No. 174 by Nifty, distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt. From 1931. 5.5" tall tin litho. Nice die-cut design depicting Mickey's head with die-cut openings at eyes and mouth. Works perfectly and sparks. Comes in original box which features images of Mickey and Minnie on 2 side panels. Box is missing just one small inner flap. One end flap is loose, the other split but still attached. Box panels show very little wear, top/bottom have just one tiny puncture mark near center caused by the toy. Overall VG but panels themselves still display VF. Toy has just some tiny scattered pinpoint paint marks but remains Exc. Rarely found this nice and rarely found boxed.
