This line was issued by Mego in 1973-75. There are 8 action figures, each 8" tall including Alan Verdon, Astronaut, Cornelius/Galen (same figure was used for both characters), Dr. Zaius, Zira, Soldier Ape, General Urko (missing bandolier/sword), General Ursus (missing bandolier/sword). Unless o/w noted, figures are complete as issued. Scattered aging but overall VF to Exc. Next is Village Playset. Large vinyl-covered cardboard case opens into 3' playset and includes laboratory table, weapons bench (with weapons), capture net and carry pole, detention pen, one control stick and two rifles. Case shows some wear with corner split and 13" split in the vinyl covering on one side. Can still be assembled for an Exc. display. Next is "Forbidden Zone Trap" boxed set. Box has obvious wear including large moisture staining and some surface paper loss. Good. Comes with two main cardboard pieces plus some other plastic accessory pieces although we are unsure if they are for this set. Lt. wear/Fine. Final item is throne but missing the cage cover. This was sold as a separate boxed accessory. VF.
