Lot of two, each 13-1/2x14" paper picture from a numbered series of 80 different images. English. 1930s. These are the only 2 in the series to feature comic characters. The pictures in this series were used by grade school teachers for educational purposes. First is #55 titled "A Present For Mickey And Minnie Mouse." Superb art depicting Santa Claus delivering a present to Mickey and Minnie, Pluto runs by Santa while behind him are reindeer done in Disney Studio animal style. Top center area has some small scattered black smudges, margin tack holes mostly along top edge. Art remains bright and clean, comes in red metal frame that compliments the picture. Second picture is No. 16 "Naughty Bonzo" depicting him licking his chops having just taken a drink from a cat's milk bowl. Cat walks up behind him. Scattered trace of margin aging, Bonzo image has a few small tan spots. This piece has also been framed so both are ready for display. Both are Fine. Superb images.
