4x7x1" deep box complete with insert and warranty paper, contains watch with 1x1.25" metal case. Has 14 link band with pair of attached 7/8" tall enamel on brass charms of Minnie and Donald. This rare model was introduced in the Fall of 1937. Box lid features great image of Mickey in top hat and cane and wearing a wristwatch, slightly different version of this image appears on the insert. Insert has a couple of minor edge creases but remains in choice, Exc. condition. Plain box bottom has aging with few small moisture spots. Lid has trace of aging/dust soiling with some tiny nicks along extreme edges but remains tight with strong color. Lid VF. Warranty paper Exc. Watch dial features image of Mickey with animated hands, second hand disc features single image of Mickey that revolves as seconds tick. Case shows just tiniest trace of wear but both case and link band have near full bright luster and display Exc. Charms are N. Mint. Crystal shows trace of surface wear and has slightly yellowed but dial remains Exc. Running. We have only offered one other version of this watch in our 41 years, that was in Auction #193. However, that example had charms of Mickey and Pluto and did not have the box. That watch sold for $3,275. The watch we are offering here is even rarer and more desirable considering the beautifully illustrated box and insert are included. One of the top Disney timepieces.
