Item Description
Lid only is 8x10x3" deep. ©1934 Gum Inc. Entire lid is covered by series of numbered designs that also appear on the corresponding wrapers of 1¢ gum the box originally held. Depicted are sterotypical black boy and girl of the time who were named Exit and Aspirina. The designs on the box are single panel cartoons with questions printed in full while the related answers are designated as "Answer On Gum Wrapper." While these wrappers are scarce, this box is rare and the first we've ever offered. Moderate wear and aging including some surface paper rubs along edges. 1" tear at one corner but lid still remains tight. VG.
