Item Description
This unique item was created in order to produce the high quality rings made by the Marshall Corp. (see item #2103). The production of this model was time consuming and costly. It took 3-1/2 months to finalize, going through several changes, and the final cost of production of this model was $3,500. The finished model was approved by the Marshall Corp. for manufacturing the first and only adult collectible ring for The Lone Ranger. The rings were manufactured in New York City and sold in three styles: all sterling silver, silver with gold appointments and a very limited 14 karat gold variety which today sells in excess of $2,000. There are 3 separate pieces. First and foremost is the silver ring body which is attached to copper arm for production purposes. Total length of 2.5". Next is 2" long metal sprue with six different castings for the separate pieces that were applied to the ring. These are large and small star badge designs, mask, 2 text plates plus the Lone Ranger on Silver piece for the ring top. Third and final piece is 1.5" long casting for the text plate that appears on the inside of the ring reading "January 30th 1993 And Forever/Manufactured By The Marshall Corp." All pieces show trace of aging but are N. Mint. A truly unique item for both Lone Ranger and ring collectors.
