Item Description
Four pieces likely issued just after his second term inauguration in 1893. This style badge was also used for souvenirs of the Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The badges have lustrous silvered tin around browntone paper portraits. Reverses are tin-backed with brass horizontal pin. "Mrs. Cleveland" is 1-5/16". "Mr. Cleveland" is 1-9/16". Both essentially Mint and scarce. The cards are each 2-1/8x3.5" showing "President Cleveland" and "Mrs. Cleveland" on superb color embossed and die-cut papers glued to card at left edge. These sheets lift up at left to reveal names in fancy type printed on the card. These are for "Emma M. Hoage" and "Mrs. E.H. Smith." Both N. Mint. Rare.
