Item Description
By date order, included are: 1884 "Delegate" 6" ribbon. Top .5" has separation repaired on reverse. Rare but just Good; 1884 "Alternate" 6" ribbon. Splits near top but intact with original vintage safety pin. Tiny wear by "National." Very Good and rare. 1908 brass 1.25" with fob design but loop at bottom and stud back. Reads "Delegate National Democratic Convention Denver 1908." N. Mint. 1924 brass fob is official design used for delegates but ribbon and brass frame are incorrect replacements. Minor wear on ribbon. Fob is Exc. 1928 "Alternate" ribbon aged but intact. Metal parts N. Mint. 1932 "Spec. Officer" from Chicago and showing Jefferson. Ribbon possibly replaced. Metal parts N. Mint. 1936 "Honorary Assistant Secretary" for FDR/Garner with jugate on Liberty Bell. Small fray on ribbon bottom. Metal parts N. Mint. 1936 same as previous but bronze luster and no insert card or ribbon. Metal parts N. Mint. 1936 "Sergeant-At-Arms" from "New York." Moderate ribbon dust. Metal parts N. Mint. Rare. 1940 "Assistant Secretary" curl on ribbon ends. Metal parts N. Mint. 1944 plastic (war years) and ribbon pair for "Honorary Assistant Sergeant-At-Arms" and "Personnel." Fabrics are tanned. Plastic parts N. Mint. 1944 souvenir 2-1/8" button. Faded rwb ribbon but gold text is clear and button is N. Mint. 1948 pair for "Honorary Page" and "Guest." Minor age tone on fabric and curl at ribbon end. Metal parts N. Mint. See Republican collection #15.
