Item Description
9x12" board holds complete collection of mostly 1.25" buttons, most of the style that were sold in the "underground" stores of major cities in the mid to late 1960s. Several buttons make reference to "A Dropout" or psychedelic "trip." One reads "Hare Krishna" and one refers to woman atheist that LIFE Magazine called in 1964 "The Most Hated Woman In America" with the text "Madalyn Murray For President." Buttons are essentially Mint and this is an outstanding group representing positive and negative attitudes towards religion during this era of cultural revolution. Comes with Hake's COA.
