Lot of seven 8x10" vintage bw photos of studio baseball team. c. 1930s. Each photo has 1.25" long bar with identifying "P" number. We are unsure what this means but it appears to be a sequence including numbers P-864, 866, 869-870, 872-873 and 877. Each photo contains as many as 3 baseball players wearing jerseys with "20th Century Fox" name emblazoned across chest. Photos show these baseball players interacting with actress who wears catcher's mitt and baseball cap, another actress in elegant gown holding catcher's mitt and 3 other photos show players with other studio employees on back lot including 2 photos with woman in Civil War-era costume. We presume the 20th Century Fox team played other studio baseball teams at the time. Scattered handling wear with creases at corners. VF overall. Interesting group of publicity photos.
